Romería De San Sebastián Carnival Easter Week Cruces de Mayo Feria de Primavera De El Colorado Hogueras Se San Juan Virgen Del Carmen (Patron Saint of Fishermen) Feria En Honor De Ntra Sra. De Las Virtudes (Patron Sait Of Conil) Language Confusion On arrival in Conil, despite your hours of listening to teach yourself spanish tapes, you may come to the conclusion that some conileños aren't singing from the same hymn sheet. This is mostly due to local pronunciation, or lack of it, cutting off the back end of many words. Then there is a chance they may throw in some local words all of their own. Many of these have roots in arabic. Here are a few and I'll add more later on. Conileño - Spanish - English Azadura - Higado
- Liver
